In French, « j'aimerai(s) » is pronounced the same way in the simple future and present conditional tenses:

  • in the simple future tense: j'aimerai (I will like ⮕ actual or certain future action)
  • in the present conditional: j'aimerais (I would like ⮕ expresses a wish or a possibility)


To know the tense of the verb, you just have to conjugate it in the first person plural (nous):
