Cuba is one of the names of countries that can be used without a determiner (like Haiti, Israel ...), for example:
Cuba est un très beau Pays.
There is one exception. When we talk about an establishment named Cuba, we use the masculine form:
Le Cuba est une discothèque très sélective.
