What thickness of OSB to choose for a floor?

For a floor, it is recommended to use OSB panels of at least 18mm thickness.

  • If the spacing between the joists is less than or equal to 50cm, 18mm thick panels are sufficient.
  • If the spacing between the joists is greater than 50cm, 25mm thick panels are required.
