Here are the different agreements of the French adjective vieux:
- masculine singular: vieux, vieil*
- masculine plural: vieux
- feminine singular: vielle
- feminine plural: vielles
*Note: vieil is used before a masculine singular noun beginning with a vowel or a silent h (e.g.: un vieil ami).
For example:
Il a trouvé un vieux livre.
Ce vieil appartement.
C'est un vieil hôpital.
La vieille dame est rentrée.
Les vieux couteaux.
Les vielles charrues.
